Good looks start at the top!
Shine, Color & Condition
Never come to work with wet hair! Even if your hair looks good
when it dries naturally, we do not consider that styled and camera ready.
Style your hair the way you would when going out on a big date
or when preparing for a photo shoot.
Use the best, not the cheapest, styling products. You will
actually save money if you buy what you know works, rather than try every new
product that claims to do what you want them to do.
Get your hair cut every 6 to 8 weeks, or as recommended by your stylist.
Wear the right hair color for your skin tone.
Not everyone should be a blond!
Skunk-like streaks are not permitted. A natural and styled look is the look you
are going for.
Roots should never show through! You never know when you will be photographed or
asked to go on a photo shoot or promotion. Be sure to always look camera ready!
Use products that add volume to thin hair, tame flyaway or bushy hair.
For the best shine results, use the right shampoo and conditioner.
Follow Your Face
The shape of your face dictates the shape of your hair. Just follow these simple "shape" rules:
HEART-SHAPED: Heart-shaped faces with low hairlines are best
suited by wavy '40s styles with curls, side parts, center parts and bobs.
LONG-SHAPED: Long faces with high cheekbones look better with
hair that doesn't smother the face or hang sloppily down the face. Go for fuller
hair at the crown, or see if bangs help proportion your features. Longer hair
should be kept full with volume, but not round.
Always be sure that highlights are complimentary to your original hair color.
Drastically different hightlighted tones or colors in your hair is not
attractive or permitted as part of the Hooters Girl Image.
Great Tool Tip:
Flat irons are a great tool to achieve a
straight, polished and finished look. Be sure to always use a heat protectant
product on hair before ironing.
