Hooters 19th Annual Memorial Cup Golf Tournament Raises $130,000 to Fund Hooters Community Endowment Fund

Today, Hooters will host the 19th annual Hooters Memorial Golf Tournament at the Marietta Country Club. This year's tournament raised $130,000 to fund Hooters Community Endowment Fund (HOO.C.E.F) and will be used to benefit local and national charitable efforts. The tournament is dedicated to preserving the memories of NASCAR Champion Alan Kulwicki and Hooters employees Mark Brooks, Dan Duncan and Charlie Campbell, whose lives were taken in a tragic airplane accident near Bristol, TN on April 1st, 1993.

"The tournament is not only a tribute to a significant event in Hooters history," stated Chris Duncan, CIO for Hooters of America, LLC. "Over the past 19 years, $2.5 million has been raised to fund hundreds of causes around the country."

Over 140 golfers will play in this year's tournament on Monday, September 17 just outside of Hooters headquarters in Atlanta.
