Hooters Expands into Central America with new Nicaragua Location

Food & Beverage S.A. brings Hooters to Managua; Additional openings planned

ATLANTA, GA – January 31, 2017 — Hooters today unveiled the opening of a new international location in Managua, Nicaragua, led by franchisee, Food & Beverage S.A.

Hooters of Managua opened October 31, 2016 to local residents and guests, and is conveniently located at Km 7.5 Carretera a Masaya. This 480 square-meter location features 258 seats, 30 of which are outdoor patio seating, as well as 44 wall-mounted television screens, including two media walls and a central bar area.

The new location is part of a three-store development agreement that will also see Food & Beverage S.A. open Hooters restaurants in neighboring Honduras. By expanding Hooters into Nicaragua and soon Honduras, nearly every country in Central America will have a Hooters location.
