NEW YORK — (BUSINESS WIRE) — Hooters is celebrating the highly anticipated grand opening of the new Hooters of Manhattan this Friday, January 16. The flagship two-story restaurant, located at 155 West 33rd Street, is just steps away from Midtown landmarks like Madison Square Garden and Macy’s Herald Square. It may be cold outside, but from noon to 1:30 p.m. 2015 Hooters Calendar centerfold Emily Phelps of Sarasota, Florida is bringing the heat to sign autographs and pose for photos alongside local Hooters Girls featured in the calendar. A portion of the proceeds of 2015 Hooters Calendar sales will benefit breast cancer research, as well as FDNY and NYPD benevolent associations.

Hooters Management Corporation relocated its Manhattan location to this premier 7,000 square foot space, which has 240 seats and boasts 60 high definition televisions, a prominent 40-foot TV wall and free WiFi for guests. The second story of the restaurant features traditional memorabilia as a throwback to the original Hooters beach theme, and the main floor features modern design elements with a massive bar for serving up a wide selection of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits.

Of course, the iconic Hooters Girls continue to serve up Hooters world-famous chicken wings. Additional classic menu options include delicious seafood dishes, specialty sandwiches, hand-formed burgers, fresh entrée salads and fan-favorite fried pickles. In addition to the close proximity to a host of New York landmarks, the Hooters of Manhattan has easy access to Penn Station, the Long Island Railroad and New Jersey Transit.

Always a sports-viewing destination, Hooters expects to draw an awesome crowd to watch the Big Game as it continues to celebrate January as the “Greatest Month of Football Ever.” Now through February 1, anyone who visits Win.Hooters.com is just one click away from winning epic football experiences, from a day pass to Jon Gruden’s quarterback camp to a custom “man cave” sanctuary. Fans also have the chance to win daily prizes, including Hooters gift cards, exclusive Hooters championship rings and merchandise.

Hooters of Manhattan, located just east of Seventh Avenue, is open seven days a week, Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from noon to 1 a.m. and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m. Hours may vary on special event dates and holidays.
