Hooters Salutes Military on Veterans Day with Wing Promotion and “Operation Calendar Drop”

Hooters is showing its appreciation for all veterans and active duty military personnel this Veterans Day by offering a special wing promotion at participating restaurant locations across the U.S. On Sunday, Nov. 11, Hooters invites all military patrons with a military ID or proof of service to enjoy 10 free boneless wings with any drink purchase.

"We are proud to show our support for our servicemen and women who have graciously sacrificed so much for this nation," said Dave Henninger , chief marketing officer, Hooters of America. "Even if it's simply coming in to enjoy a relaxed environment, catch a game, drink a favorite beer or try our famous wings, we are grateful for the opportunity to show our gratitude this Veterans Day."

In addition to the Veterans Day free wing deal, Hooters will encourage its restaurant patrons to send a little Hooters love to the troops with the launch of its 2013 "Operation Calendar Drop" campaign.

Hooters pledges to donate $1 to local military support organizations for every 2013 Hooters Calendar purchased through Hooters of America locations, up to $100,000. In addition, any Hooters guest can purchase a calendar to go to a serviceman or woman overseas.
