Hooters of America, LLC, today announced it has entered into a development agreement with franchise partner Grupo Iberfood to open 15 new Hooters locations in Spain and Portugal. The first-ever Hooters location in Barcelona will open later this summer. The following four locations are slated to open within the next three years, including the first-ever Hooters in Madrid, and a new location in Portugal in late 2018.

The international franchisee will focus its initial wave of Hooters locations in Spain, in the metropolitan areas of Barcelona and Madrid. The next focus for development will be in Portugal around the Lisbon metropolitan area. The new locations will incorporate the latest design features that deliver the familiar, fun-loving persona of the Hooters brand along with contemporary elements that combine to deliver a one-of-a-kind guest experience.
