Military Eat Free at Hooters on Veterans Day

2017 Hooters Calendars available to send to troops deployed around the world as part of Operation Calendar Drop

ATLANTA, GA – October 27, 2016 – This Veterans Day, Hooters invites all active-duty and retired military to stop in for a free meal as a “thank you” for their service. On Friday, November 11, all veterans can enjoy a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any Hooters location nationwide. Hooters also invites its guests to purchase a 2017 Hooters Calendar and join military support efforts through its annual Operation Calendar Drop program.

A variety of entrées are available to veterans and active-duty military from the Hooters Veterans Day free meal menu, including:

  • 10-Piece Traditional Wings
  • 10-Piece Boneless Wings
  • Hooters Burger
  • Buffalo Chicken Salad
  • Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Dining veterans have the freedom to choose when it comes to saucing Hooters world-famous chicken wings, Buffalo Chicken Salad or Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, with sauce favorites ranging in heat from mild to Triple Dog Dare, as well as signature sauces and rubs on select Hooters menus, such as teriyaki-style samurai, lemon pepper and chipotle honey.

As part of its military support, Hooters also invites guests to participate in its annual Operation Calendar Drop program by purchasing a 2017 Hooters Calendar. Hooters will collect and deliver the calendars to U.S. military deployed around the world. Since 2013, more than 100,000 Hooters Calendars have been distributed to troops worldwide. This year’s calendar cover features 2016 Miss Hooters International Sable Robbert from Hooters of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Hooters support for the military community spans decades and has resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars raised for non-profit military organizations. Everyone is invited to share photos of their Veterans Day visit to Hooters via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with the #HootersMakesYouHappy hashtag.

The complimentary Veterans Day entrée, ordered off the free meal menu, is redeemable during business hours on Veterans Day, November 11, at any participating Hooters location across the U.S. with the purchase of a beverage. There is no coupon required to activate the deal, veterans and military personnel just need to present a military ID or proof of service to their Hooters Girl while dining in at their favorite location.
