NASCAR’s Chase Elliott Takes the Wheel as Director of Delivery at Hooters

Delivery fire suits give nod to iconic Hooters Girls uniforms

Hooters is pleased to announce the appointment of Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet SS and second-generation NASCAR champion, as its new director of delivery. Chase is taking the driver’s seat to hire and train prep crew members and delivery drivers as Hooters readies for Hooters Delivery across locations nationwide. As a day one initiative, Chase and Hooters are also revealing new delivery fire suits for its drivers, designed with a nod to the iconic Hooters Girl uniforms.

Hooters Delivery is taking shape in response to customer feedback and industry data. Tapping into Chase’s expertise in delivery vehicle technology and passion for speedy results, his appointment as director of delivery reinforces the iconic brand’s commitment to bringing Hooters craveable menu items, including its world-famous chicken wings, straight to customers’ doors.

“Being behind the wheel of the No. 24 Hooters car is going to be a lot of fun. Now, off the track, I look forward to steering the brand’s latest great initiative. After all, it combines two of my favorite things – driving and Hooters chicken wings,” said Elliott. “I may not have restaurant experience, but I strive to get ahead of the field in everything I do. Learning from my experience on the track, I’ll treat every task given to me with speed and determination.”

Hooters prep crew members are expected to carry out the nuts and bolts of delivery. Taking a cue from the track, the prep crew will aim to prepare orders and send off drivers within seconds. Delivery drivers must be willing to go the extra mile for customers, even if it means pushing the speed limit.

Hooters is a full season sponsor of the No. 24 team and Chase’s primary sponsor for the races on May 7 at Talladega Superspeedway, Nov. 5 at Texas Motor Speedway, and Nov. 12 at Phoenix International Raceway. Chase’s impeccable resume as both a racecar driver and as a Hooters fan made him the clear candidate to bring delivery nationwide.
